The golden Globes ceremony has been cancelled, here is the official statement from the Hollywood Foreighn association.

“We are all very disappointed that our traditional awards ceremony will not take place this year and that millions of viewers worldwide will be deprived of seeing many of their favorite stars …,” says Jorge Camara, president of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. “We take some comfort, however, in knowing that this year’s Golden Globe Award recipients will be announced on the date originally scheduled.”

It is such a shame. I would have love to have seen the Pushing Daisies stars all on the Red carpet. Just to remind all of you who dont know Anna Friel has been nominated for the Best Performance by an Actress in a TV Series, and Lee Pace has been nominated for the Best Performance by an Actor. However the nomination for The Best Television Series Award, must have been the icing on the cake for the cast and crew
