Three-cheers for the awesome Pushing Daisies! Yes, it’s good news for the all the fans of this wonderful show. The program has got itself many of the prized nominations in this year’s Golden Globes Awards.
To begin with Anna Friel has been nominated for the Best Performance by an Actress in a TV Series, and Lee Pace has been nominated for the Best Performance by an Actor. However the nomination for The Best Television Series Award, must have been the icing on the cake.
Pushing Daisies is a dramedy created by Bryan Fuller, this wonderful program has a stream of talented actors performing for it. These include the likes of Chi McBridge, Ellen Greenem Swoosie Kurtz, Kristin Chenoweth and of course, Jim Dale, the narrator.
Apart from the above Golden Globe nominations, the show is also the proud nominee and recipient of various other awards, these include the Family TV Awards, Satellite Awards for best television series, People Choice Awards for favorite new drama. Lets hope it brings home at least one Golden Globes Award too!
